Venerable Robina: Exploring Lama Yeshe’s Mahamudra (Day 4)

March 2 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Hybrid Hybrid Event
Free – £15.00

About this Teaching | Wednesdays, 9 February – 2 March, 19:00 – 20:30
Venerable Robina edited Lama Yeshe’s modern classic Mahamudra: How to Discover Our True Nature. The short but profound text introduces the sophisticated Buddhist meditation method known as Mahamudra in accordance with the Geluk lineage transmitted from Panchen Lama Losang Chokyi Gyaltsen. Mahamudra can enable an advanced practitioner to realise the nature of reality, and while the practice is beyond the capabilities of most of us at the stage we are now, Venerable Robina’s energising presentation will inspire us to persevere on the Buddhist path so we can one day taste its fruit.

Is this for me?
In attending these teachings, students will likely benefit from being familiar with fundamental Buddhist concepts, such as the Four Noble Truths and Emptiness. However, all with an open mind are welcome!

What can I expect?
A series of teachings that will serve as a gateway into understanding the profound practice of Mahamudra, as described by the founder of FPMT (Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition), Lama Yeshe, by one of his closest students, Venerable Robina.
