Please come and join Bonnington Cafe cooks for an opening weekend on Saturday 9th of July 2022 and Sunday 10th of July 2022 from 10:00 till 15:00.
Join us for food, conversation, kimchi and plant sale.

About the Courtyard Cafe
• The Courtyard Cafe is at Jamyang London Buddhist Centre, 43 Renfrew Road, SE11 4NA.
• The cafe is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for breakfast and lunch from 10am till 3 pm.
Our aim is to provide delicious, nutritious food using ingredients that would otherwise go to waste.
Through generous donations of surplus food from City Harvest, we create menus based on what fresh produce we have on the day.
All our food is vegetarian with vegan options available daily. We try to keep our prices affordable.
Please do not hesitate to ask for a complimentary meal if you cannot afford to pay.
If you can pay double to further add to our free meals initiative you are also very welcome.
About the Chef
Ela Ciecierska, a former chef with the socially focused Bonnington Café, and kitchen doyenne at our neighbour’s Roots and Shoots who is bringing her warmth, her flair with flavours and her kind-hearted approach to cooking to the Courtyard Cafe.
Ela is working with City Harvest an endeavour in sustainability and food waste reduction in London, to be able to offer low-cost and nourishing to every café customer and donate meals and hot drinks to those in need.
