Chi Kung Class with William Walker
About this class
Connect the body and mind through the ancient art of Chi Kung. William Walker will explain the practice as he guides us through the movements. We will begin with some warm-up exercises and gradually move through a set of exercises called Ba Duan Jin (Eight Fine Treasures or Brochades), opening and stretching the body. This will be followed by a period of standing meditation in the posture known as Wu Chi, including a simple body scan, connecting us to the earth. Then we will introduce five postures related to different elements and their respective internal organs.
About William Walker
William Walker is a student of Master Lam Kam Chuen, has been a practitioner of Chi Kung for 27 years and has 22 years of teaching experience. He currently teaches both Zhan Zhuang Chi Kung and Lam style Tai Chi along with Wu Tang Dragon Sword Form.
