Introduction to Buddhist Mind Science (Day 2)
June 21 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
About the Course
How is consciousness defined from the perspectives of the Buddhist tradition and of contemporary science? How do we perceive the world and how do our minds shape those perceptions to form a conceptual understanding of what we perceive? In this course, Geshe Namdak will explain how our minds perceive reality, how destructive emotions cause disturbances of mind and how development of constructive emotions leads to happiness.
Is this for me?
Absolutely! If you are interested in how psychological approaches derived from the Buddhist tradition could help you develop resilience, mental clarity and emotional intelligence, you’re welcome to come along. These classes are not about converting you to Buddhism; they’re about giving you the tools to improve your well-being.
What can I expect?
A comprehensive introductory overview of the Buddhist theory of mind and consciousness, delivered by a world-class teacher.
