About MBSR

Originally developed by Jon Kabat Zinn in the US, this well-tested and authenticated 8-week programme has been carefully formulated to enable participants to learn more about their patterns of thinking and behaviour, while learning practical skills to be able to manage stress and develop greater mental resilience.

What can I expect?

This is an introduction to MBSR to directly share your questions with the facilitators.

The course is secular in nature and consists of a series of guided meditations and practices, with group discussion and inquiry.

  • Regular daily home practice is an integral part of the programme.
  • Regular follow-up sessions are offered to course graduates.

Is this for me?

Absolutely! Personal testimonies have been very positive, with participants reporting a greater ability to cope with stress and to support their mental and physical well-being. Participants will learn to develop a different relationship to stress with often marked improvements in well-being both physical and mental.

The course facilitators are qualified and experienced in facilitating the 8-week programme.

How to join?

  • Please note the 8-Week Mindfulness for Stress Reduction course will start on Spring 2022 (Dates TBC)
  • Due to current uncertainties, it is planned to run the Spring course virtually using Zoom.
