Non-Residential Retreat: Healing through Embodied Tara Practice with Paula Chichester
November 24, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - November 26, 2023 @ 4:00 pm
About this Non-residential Retreat
We are living through times of degeneration: the further we get from the time of the Buddha, the more unstable the conditions that sustain life become. We see this in increased conflict, confusion, and climate breakdown. Now, more than ever, we need the obstacle-dispelling power of Tara to counteract these forces for ourselves and all beings. Tara is a manifestation of the enlightened activity of all Buddhas in the form of a deity, and by depending on her we are able to cultivate her qualities within ourselves, such as courage, fearlessness, compassion and wisdom.
Join Paula Chichester for a weekend combining embodied practices like chi gong and yoga with Tara practice.
Is this for me?
Yes – this retreat is open to all. Familiarity with core Buddhist teachings and the Tibetan Buddhist tradition will be assumed.
What can I expect?
Paula will lead 10 sessions over three days. This is not a residential retreat.
About the Teacher
Paula Chichester is known for her friendly, experiential teaching style that evolved from 4 decades of full-time training in Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and meditation as well as diverse psycho-somatic healing arts from Asia and the West. Her ability to distil and impart the essence of these disciplines is inspired by her main teachers, Lama Thubten Yeshe and Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche. Paula is dedicated to help create a world culture of health, compassion, wisdom and joy.

Our Generosity Model
As a non-profit organisation, we rely on donations to be able to provide our programmes. We set recommended donation tiers as a guideline for students. However, everyone can register for our Buddhist programmes, regardless of financial circumstances. If the recommended donation tiers are not feasible for you, please get in touch at [email protected] so we can come up with a donation level that works for you!
