Online Summer Lam Rim Retreat 2024
July 27 @ 6:00 pm - August 7 @ 11:30 am
About this retreat
Jamyang Buddhist Centre London is currently midway through its current cycle of Basic Programme, an in-depth study programme on Buddhist philosophy and practice that has been designed by FPMT.
In addition to the course’s standard subject blocks, our Resident Teacher, Geshe Namdak leads a yearly Summer Lam Rim Retreat, giving students enrolled on selected long-term courses the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment. This retreat will also be open to students who are not enrolled on those selected courses to join online.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are enrolled on a long-term course that is eligible to join this retreat, you will have already received registration instructions separately. Please do not register here.
Prerequisites (Is this for me?)
It will be assumed that participating students have some familiarity with the Lam Rim literature and the corresponding topics, for example, by having completed the Discovering Buddhism course.
Schedule
A precise daily schedule of sessions will be shared in the coming weeks, however it is likely that the first session with Geshe Namdak will start at 9:30 CEST each day with the last session ending at 20:30.
- Start: 27 July 2024, 18:00 BST
- End: 7 August 2024, 11:30 BST.
Recordings
Recordings for this retreat will be available during the retreat so you can catch up if you miss a session.
