    Hi there
Apologies for the late reply to Diana’s question about meeting times – letting you know that when Gill and I met last week we discussed the start time, and both would be able to start earlier. What about 7.50, before morning prayers? I’ve also posted in the What’s App group about this

Too late for today – I’ll be there at 9 (as customary to date) if anyone would care to join.

Wednesday 1st September – Back at school (part-time).
Apologies – that’s where I’ll be tomorrow, Thursday 2nd. But I should be available thereafter on Thursdays. And Wednesdays.
    (Working Mondays and Tuesdays).

See you 10am this Saturday. Tenets! Yeqy!

Having used Venerable Robina Courtin’s text last week for a guided Vajrasattva purification practice, and also having used her meditation on Stages of the Path yesterday, I wondered whether we might use this video of Venerable Robina herself leading Vajrasattva purification practice (22mins)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g79sxQq4mtQ 12 minutes

Just been researching more about this video that I found with a group reciting the Vajrasattva mantra (1 minute in, just 3 times), quite fast, with a melody

The person leading is Kathleen Herron (Karma Zopa Hlamo) and the context for this teaching was a Vajrasttva retreat at
Sravasti Abbey, the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery in the U.S. where Venerables Thubten Chodron and Sangye Khadro (Kathleen McDonald) are based.

After the group recitation she talks personally about uses of the mantra on a daily basis, visualization practice and she also gives a translation of the mantra

That was my third attempt at a post
I think because I included a website link, copying and pasting without noticing and using the “tools” in the reply bar
So let’s have another go at sharing a link to a “Start the Week” programme that I found particularly interesting, on a few weeks ago, stimulating thought on the cultural determinants that shape religions…
    Personal faith and the Church

The miracles of modern technology – it’s available to listen again for …as long as the BBC website is there…

    Hi there
    Laura Fudge here
expressing an interest in joining this meditation group regularly on Mondays and Wednesdays,
    establishing a good meditation practice.

At 9.04 this morning, after the Jamyang Leeds hosted morning prayers, it was a bit too late to attempt to “Zoom in”,
    but,
knowing that this meditation was happening, I had a go sitting on my meditation cushion,
followed by some Basic Programme revision,
    breaking a long established habit,
listening to BBC Radio 4’s Start the Week

Looking forward to joining you on Wednesday
Thank you for hosting and creating the opportunity

    Best wishes,
    Laura F.
