Join Steff and Francesca for a four-day fasting retreat focused on the Buddha of Compassion, Chenrezig with eleven faces and a thousand arms and eyes.  It starts the evening before the first day and ends the morning after the last day. Nyung Nay is a  special practice where participants fast from both solids and liquids on the second of the two days and their diet follows the ritual purity requirements of the kriya tantras on the first day.

With recitations, prostrations and evocation of the Buddha of compassion, this powerful practice is a highly recommended way to purify past misdeeds and to move on from being stuck.

There is no need to have had a Chenrezig initiation before doing this practice, though having one definitely helps. Nyung Nay is one of the recommended practices of module 14 of the FPMT Foundation programme, Discovering Buddhism. So if you are thinking about doing that course with Geshe Tenzin Namdak over the next couple of years then please think about doing this Nyung Nay so that you start on one of the recommended practices in good time before you reach the end of module 13.

Steff and Francesca are both experienced leaders of this practice.

Why not make your early May bank holiday weekend something very different.
