Vajrasattva Practice Day

Vajrasattva Practice Day

SUN | 10:00 - 17:00 | 17 MAR (Discovering Buddhism)

/ABOUT
Vajrasattva is a Tibetan Buddhist practice that utilises imagination, visualisation and recitation to acknowledge our problematic behaviours of the past, recognise the trouble they have caused and the troublesome after effects they still cause, counteract them and move beyond repeating them.

This enables us to open up to unlimited loving kindness and courage and strength and so move forward towards full enlightenment.

For the 3 years 2019 - 2021 Geshe Tenzin Namdak the new resident teacher at Jamyang will offer students the opportunity to study the FPMT Foundation Programme “Discovering Buddhism.

This is a study course in 14
modules that takes around three years to complete part time. His teaching programme will be supported by the FPMT Foundation level registered teachers at Jamyang London.

Module 14 of the course is an experiential module which enables students to try out for themselves a number of Tibetan Buddhist practices that stabilize and enhance the compassionate power of the mind. Part of that module is the Vajrasattva practice and this day will introduce students to the practice and its benefits and how to set up a small daily practice.

All very welcome.
