An Introduction to Buddhist Meditation

An Introduction to Buddhist Meditation

COURSE with Geshe Tenzin Namdak

MON | 3 JUNE - 1 JULY (not 17 JUNE) | 19:00 - 20:30

Suggested donation £10 each evening

Join Geshe Namdak for four evenings introducing us to Buddhist meditation and the various techniques found within it to open our hearts, increase our focus and stability and to develop our wisdom.

These classes will be based on the FPMT introductory course Buddhism 101.

Geshe Tenzin Namdak was given full ordination by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is our new resident teacher.  He recently gained his geshe degree in Sera Jey monastery, the equivalent of a doctorate of philosophy in our education system. A Dutch citizen, he teaches in English and is well known for his warm gentle inclusive style.

All welcome.

No-one will be turned away due to the lack of funds

Dharma teachings run on a 'Generosity model', completely on voluntary donations. By donating you will help create the conditions for the teachings to be available, meals to be served, accommodation to be clean, for the doors to be open and the lights on. Therefore people of any faith or background are welcome. Booking is not mandatory but highly recommended it because Jamyang can give you a better service

During this occasion our community cafe will be open with delicious homemade food:
Enjoy a fantastic meal. We look forward to welcoming you!

-Vegan soup and homemade bread (£4.25)
-Slice of cake - Gluten Free Option (£2)
-Cup of tea (£1.25)
