EVENT INFORMATION:

His Eminence Ling Rinpoche has kindly agreed to give a talk at Jamyang Buddhist Centre London on the famous (and very short!) text "Parting from the Four Attachments".

"Parting from the Four Attachments"
This key practice text gives us a useful checklist to help us upgrade and enhance our day to day motivation as spiritual beings and Buddhist practitioners; from being self-centred to centred on others, from being concerned only with our own immediate short benefit to being concerned with the long term real benefit of all beings.

His Eminence the 7th Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche Biography

His Eminence Ling Rinpoche
is one of the young lamas of our tradition, very close to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and a key lineage holder of many practices and teaching lineages. He teaches in English and has a delightful warm and kind manner. Do try to get to see him in person as we will not be live-streaming this event. Completing his traditional monastic education in the refounded Drepung Loseling monastery in India he has started travelling outside of Asia to make the teachings of Buddhism available to the wider world. Rinpoche is the reincarnation of His Holiness the Dalai Lama's senior tutor who played a key role as the Ganden throne holder, the head of the Geluk tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, in the early days of exile from Communist Chinese oppression in Tibet.

We hope that this visit will mark the start of a developing long term relationship between His Eminence Ling Rinpoche and dharma practitioners and students in London and the South of England.
