The Art of Emotional Intelligence

The Art of Emotional Intelligence

DAY COURSE with Geshe Tenzin Namdak

SAT | 15 JUNE | 10:00 - 17:00

Suggested donation £30 (lunch not included)

The potential to achieve more inner well-being exists in the minds of all of us. We can eliminate disturbances of mind, like destructive emotions, through mind training of generating greater self-awareness, self-discipline, loving kindness and compassion. This leads not only to the achievement of more inner peace of mind but will also generate a more harmonious world around us.

The primary methods to achieve mental well-being use our human intelligence to analyze states of mind in sustained contemplation. This teaching, based on Buddhist Psychology, will lead us down the path of truly learning our minds, exploring what steps we can take in our everyday life to unlock our enlightening-potential, to live a life filled with joy.

Geshe Tenzin Namdak was given full ordination by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is our new resident teacher.  He recently gained his geshe degree in Sera Jey monastery, the equivalent of a doctorate of philosophy in our education system. A Dutch citizen, he teaches in English and is well known for his warm gentle inclusive style as well as for his deep learning.
