Take the opportunity this summer to spend some quality time listening to, thinking about and meditating on the meditations in the Gradual Path to Enlightenment series of meditations.  These run from the beginning of the path when we meet Buddhism and recognising how rare that is in the modern world and how fortunate we are to have met Buddhism. They go on through giving a clear and safe direction in this and future lives by taking the Buddha as our guide, his teachings as personal advice, and his followers as supportive community. Then through leaving behind repetitive unenlightened patterns or thinking and behaviour, and finally to working to become fully enlightened so as to be of the best benefit to everyone we encounter.

A wonderful set of meditations and an opportunity that does not come along that often.  Seize the day! Geshe Tenzin Namdak was given full ordination by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is our new resident teacher.  He recently gained his Geshe degree, the equivalent of a doctorate of philosophy in our education system. A Dutch citizen, he teaches in English and is well known for his warm gentle inclusive style.

Retreat is best done over more than one day so we ask that if you cannot commit to all eight days that at least you attend three consecutive days of the retreat so that you move beyond the mental and physical busy-ness that plagues our modern lives.

If you can’t do three in a row then please at least 2 in a row. Thank you.

All welcome. Booking is essential if possible whole retreat, then 5 days, then for 3 days.
If you want to book for fewer days, please select " pay offline" and add to the notes boxes the dates to be booked.
Accommodation is available to book, please contact us directly by email [email protected] or by phone Tel: +44 (0) 20 7820 8787

No-one will be turned away due to the lack of funds

Dharma teachings run on a 'Generosity model', completely on voluntary donations. By donating you will help create the conditions for the teachings to be available, meals to be served, accommodation to be clean, for the doors to be open and the lights on. Therefore people of any faith or background are welcome.
