Join Geshe Namdak as he continues with his Introduction to Buddhist Meditation and the various techniques found within it to open our hearts, increase our focus and stability and develop our wisdom.
These classes will be based on the FPMT introductory course Buddhism 101.
Geshe Tenzin Namdak was given full ordination by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is our new resident teacher. He recently gained his Geshe degree, the equivalent of a doctorate of philosophy in our education system. A Dutch citizen, he teaches in English and is well known for his warm, gentle, inclusive style.
All welcome. Suggested donation £10 each evening.
Students will benefit from having attended part one of Geshe Namdak's teachings on this subject, given during June and July 2019.
No-one will be turned away due to lack of funds
Dharma teachings run on a 'Generosity model', based on voluntary donations. By donating you will help create the conditions for the teachings to be available, meals to be served, accommodation to be clean, for the doors to be open and the lights on. Therefore people of any faith or background are welcome.
Booking is not mandatory but highly recommended because Jamyang can give you a better service.
