Karma and the Wheel of Life

Karma and the Wheel of Life

WEEKEND COURSE with Geshe Tenzin Namdak

SAT-SUN | 9 – 10 NOVEMBER | SAT 10:00 - 15.30 and SUN 10:00 - 12:30

Why should we consider the effects of our actions? And what is the cycle of unwanted suffering? Karma answers the first question by teaching us the framework of cause and effect applied to our own actions and their consequences, and the Wheel of Life explains the symbolic representation of the cycle of our lives.

Geshe Namdak will explain the law of dependent origination or Karma and how to distinguish positive and negative actions, their results, and what antidotes are available for the negative ones.

Geshe Tenzin Namdak was given full ordination by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is our new resident teacher.  He recently gained his Geshe degree, the equivalent of a doctorate of philosophy in our education system. A Dutch citizen, he teaches in English and is well known for his warm, gentle, inclusive style.
