Two Truths: a little deeper
COURSE with Rhona Sayer
TUE | 21 & 28 MAY | 19:00 - 20:30
Suggested donation £10
The teaching of the two truths is a key technique for getting clear in our heads what has a kind of provisional workaday truth and what is true ultimately.
Though the technique is found across the classical Indian philosophical traditions, the Buddhist understanding, in particular, the understanding of the Consequence Middle way school of Buddhism founded by the great Indian practitioner Nagarjuna, is unique.
Rhona Sayer is a senior teacher at Jamyang Buddhist Centre, a FPMT registered teacher at the Foundation level, and an academic Buddhologist. Her wealth of knowledge and understanding has been built up over many years of study and practice.
Do come along and meet her.
No-one will be turned away due to the lack of funds
Dharma teachings run on a 'Generosity model', completely on voluntary donations. By donating you will help create the conditions for the teachings to be available, the meals to be served, accommodations to be clean, for the doors to be open and the lights on. Therefore people of any faith or background are welcome.
Booking is not mandatory but highly recommended it because Jamyang can give you a better service
