Insight meditation (Pali Vipassana) is a Buddhist meditation technique that can be used to gain a better understanding of ourselves in the here and now. It is also a technique that can be used to break through the superficial appearances that crowd out our daily lives and for the first time to see to reality as it is - so starting out on the path to complete freedom from compulsive, driven, repetitive, habitual behaviour.
The group is facilitated by senior students and experienced meditators and usually involves sessions of sitting meditation, walking meditation, explanation and discussion.
