Mindfulness in Autumn

Mindfulness at Jamyang: there are some great opportunities to train in this essential practice at Jamyang this autumn.

Mindfulness may be all the rage these days, but that doesn’t make it any less of a powerful practice. Training ourselves to remain aware of the processes and phenomena of body and mind is the first step to finding peace and clarity.

We’ve partnered with our friends at our sister-centre in Sweden, Yeshin Norbu, to bring you their course, Foundations of Mindfulness, and the weekend meditation retreat taught by Paula Chichester.

Closer to home, our skillful meditation leaders, Vinod, Jane, Cynthia, and William are leading lunchtime and evening drop-in sessions throughout the week during Autumn.

This year we are happy to offer more drop-in sessions, based on secular mindfulness practices to improve your mental and physical wellbeing. Free weekly sessions of Lunchtime Drop-in Mindfulness Meditation on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, plus the evening session on Friday and three sessions on Sunday: Mindfulness Meditation with Vinod; How to Meditate with Roy; and Group Sound Meditations – Sound Baths with Craig.

During the weekend we also offer physical classes to improve your mental and physical wellbeing with Chi Kung, Scaravelli Yoga, and Satyananda Yoga.
