Sutra Recitation and Tara Practice for Chotrul Duchen
As the Fifteen Days of Miracles draw to a close, we’ll gather on Tuesday 3rd March at 5pm for Sutra Recitation and Tara practice, open to everyone.
These extraordinary days between Losar and Chotrul Duchen are a time when the power of our actions is magnified and multiplied. To come together in prayer at their culmination – calling on Tara, who embodies swift compassion in action – feels like the most beneficial thing we can do together. She is the one who responds without hesitation to the cries of beings, who cuts through fear, clears obstacles, and carries us across difficulty with fierce courage and unwavering clarity.
We will also recite sutra together as part of the evening’s practice including Chanting the Names of Noble Manjushri – a practice recommended for the swift return of Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
Bringing the Buddha’s own words into this gathering; the sound and meaning of the teachings steady the mind, deepen our merit, and anchor our aspirations. As the Fifteen Days of Miracles draw to a close, reciting sutra together strengthens the intention we’ve been cultivating since Losar and offers it outward for the benefit of all beings.
