We’re happy to announce that our Courtyard Garden will be looked after by the expert hands of the gardeners at Roots and Shoots.
R&S has 40 years of experience in delivering training to vulnerable people between the ages of 16 and 24. These young people have often been challenged by the traditional education system, and R&S helps prepare them for the world of work.
Alongside this training, R&S is a resource for local schools and the wider community through its beautiful green space in Kennington, a centre of urban biodiversity.
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the beautiful gardens and the onsite shop run by the students.
Visit the local gift shop for flower arranging, fresh coffee, cookies, cake, and special gifts handmade by students and local artists. The shop is open every Friday from 9:30 to 15:30.
