Overview of the Summit

In 2024, the FPMT Planetary Crises Summit was hosted by Jamyang Centre in London. This year we continue this important tradition with a new hybrid format where centers across Europe unite to join together for the Summit over two days.

Join us at Jamyang London to participate in online and onsite presentations, teachings, meditations and dialogues during this transformative weekend.

Theme

The planetary crises refer to a set of interconnected global challenges such as war, climate change, over-exploitation of natural resources, biodiversity loss, collapse of ecosystems, etc. that coalesce to pose a profound threat to life on Earth.

Together we can make a difference and inspire others.

Join us for a rich program of presentations, teachings, meditations and group discussion.

Is this event for me?

This event is for anyone who:

  • Is concerned about the dangers of climate change and other crises, and seeking a means to navigate them
  • Wants to help make a difference but is unsure where to begin
  • Is curious about what causes these crises and how to build a better world
  • Wishes to learn more about the Buddhist approach to global crises and healing the mind

This event will help:
