Diana PisaniParticipantThis morning, we followed another meditation from Venerable Yonten’s 2021 course on Buddha Nature & Bodhicitta:

Diana PisaniParticipantThanks again to Laura for keeping the sessions going last week – my understanding is that the group followed the video version of Ven Yonten’s meditation on the 9 similes (link a few posts above).
Today, we followed:
Express Meditation Ven. Losang Dondrub: Forming a Determination to Awaken our Buddha Nature
Cheers!
Diana PisaniParticipantOn Tuesday, we followed:
Express Meditation Gen Don Handrick: Introduction to Calm Abiding
Thanks to Laura F. for running the session.
I’ll be away next week, but the sessions should still run. (Thanks to whoever takes this on!)
Diana PisaniParticipantToday, we followed:
Express Meditation Ven. Robina Courtin: Nine-Round Breathing and the Four Immeasurable Thoughts
There is a section, at around 11 minutes in, where the microphone isn’t on – you’ll see, but not hear, Ven. Robina speaking. Don’t be alarmed – it gets sorted out eventually!
Diana PisaniParticipantThis week, we followed this meditation on both days:
Meditation: Touching Your Potential Through Poetry_Maitreya’s 9 Analogies for Buddha Nature – Ven. Yönten
There is a link in the video description to an audio-only version on archive.org, if you don’t want to risk being interrupted by adverts.
Thanks to Laura for looking after the Tuesday session!
Diana PisaniParticipantA short one today:
The Natural Goodness of Our Mind – Ven. Sangye Khadro
Laura is in charge of tomorrow’s session (Thank you Laura!)
Diana PisaniParticipantThis morning’s meditation (which we’ll likely repeat tomorrow):
Meditation on coping with fear and anxiety – Venerable Thubten Damcho
Diana PisaniParticipantThis morning, we went back to the Four Close Placements:
Mindfulness of Feelings: Exploring the Three Marks of Existence | Guided meditation – Michael Lobsang Tenpa
The plan is to repeat this again tomorrow, so I’ll say “Have a lovely week!” now!
Diana PisaniParticipantThis week we followed this meditation on both days:
The Possibility of Enlightenment – Scott Snibbe
This is the first time I’ve ever considered whether enlightenment is fun!
Have a good week!
Diana PisaniParticipantThis morning’s meditation:
Spacious Clarity of Mind_Guided Meditation
This is a largely secular meditation on the mind. There is a message to remember Buddha Nature of all sentient beings displayed, right at the end, after the bell! (I skipped this last minute in the session because of time).
