1,000 statues to be offered for the Dalai Lama’s Long Life

FPMT has recently shared the incredible news that Lama Zopa Rinpoche on behalf of the entire FPMT organization will be offering a long-life puja to His Holiness the Dalai Lama on May 24, 2023 at Namgyal Monastery, Mcleod Ganj, India.

Lama Zopa Rinpoche is planning to offer 1,000 statues of Shakyamuni Buddha, which will be gilded in gold, filled with mantras, painted, and consecrated in Nepal. In addition, two beautiful life-size Padmasambhava and Namgyalma statues will be offered and presented to His Holiness the Dalai Lama during the long-life puja.

All are invited to make an offering towards, or sponsor, one of these statues (US$300 each), which will then be offered directly to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Any contribution towards the statues means participating in the entire offering to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

By offering these statues, on behalf of the FPMT organization, we are profoundly requesting His Holiness the Dalai Lama to have a stable life for eons that are as numberless as drops of water in the oceans, and to continuously guide the FPMT organization and all students in this and all future lifetimes without separation.

This is a precious opportunity for everyone; click below to sponsor a statue.
