About the LGBTQ Buddhist Gathering
Join us at Jamyang Buddhist Centre London for an afternoon of engaging conversation. Our in-person gatherings for the Rainbow Sangha are a dedicated space for Queer identified or LGBTQ+ identified people who are studying Buddhism or are practicing Buddhists, and interested in sharing experiences with others as part of our affinity group at Jamyang Buddhist Centre London.
Building off the momentum of our initial gatherings last year, this space seeks to affirm and uplift LGBTQ+ members of the Jamyang community. We are creating a place where people can see themselves reflected in the stories of their fellow students and practitioners, while unpacking the nuances of their lived experience in a conducive and supportive setting.
What can I expect?
The LGBTQ London Buddhist meeting will include a guided meditation and informal discussion hosted by our EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) Co-ordinator Kunsang Kelden
The Courtyard Café will be open to purchase refreshments and lunch. We look forward to seeing you there!
