Community is at the very heart of Jamyang and our space plays host to a variety of ‘cafes’ – places for people to connect in meaningful ways – workshops and events, where practical skills and enjoyable hobbies are shared in joyful way.

Climate Cafe

Climate Cafe: to inspire climate conversations and share your feelings about climate change.

Death Cafe

At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death.

Dharma Cafe

A space on Tuesday evenings for people to connect around the Dharma, for questions and discussions in a peer led space.

Kimchi Making Workshop

Our Kimchi making workshop shares the skills needed to bring delicious fermented foods to life.

Herb Drawing

The Herb Drawing workshop provides a space for people to reflect and respond to nature through a gentle artistic medium.

Mending Circle

Bring your threadbare cloth and worn out clothes to the Mending Circle and learn to care for and tend to your fabrics.

Listening Hour

The Listening Hour is 1-hour connection and empathy space, facilitated by people who have experience and interest in Non-Violent Communication (NVC).

Jamyang Walks
