About the Event
Join us for our first-ever collaboration between the Rainbow Sangha and the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre!
This in-person gathering for the Rainbow Sangha is a dedicated space for Queer identified or LGBTQIA identified people who are studying Buddhism or are practicing Buddhists, and are interested in sharing experiences with others and engaging in meaningful discussion about the intersections of Buddhism and LGBTQ+ identity.
About this group
Our in-person gatherings for the Rainbow Sangha are a dedicated space for Queer identified or LGBTQ+ identified people who are studying Buddhism or are practicing Buddhists, and interested in sharing experiences with others as part of our affinity group at Jamyang. This space seeks to affirm and uplift LGBTQ+ members of our community and is intended to be a space where people can see themselves reflected in the stories of fellow students and practitioners, while unpacking the nuances of their lived experience in a conducive and supportive setting.
What can I expect?
Our meeting will include a guided meditation and informal discussion hosted by our EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) Co-ordinator Kunsang Kelden.
Is this for me?
This session is specifically for LGBTQ+ identified people. Whether you’ve come to our previous gatherings or are new to the community, you are welcome to join us!
