Bringing the Teachings Alive: Geshe Tenzin Namdak Encourages Students with Innovation and Patience

Geshe Tenzin Namdak exemplifies the potential that arises when Western students devote themselves to in-depth Buddhist study. In 2017, he became the first Westerner to complete the twenty-year-long Geshe degree at Sera Je Monastic University.

His ability to combine the traditional Buddhist monastic education with a modern Western sensibility makes him a profoundly qualified teacher for students at FPMT centers.

In 2019, Geshe Namdak became the FPMT resident teacher at Jamyang London Buddhist Centre.

In the short space of three years, Geshe Namdak has offered teachings to hundreds of appreciative students around the world. Read more about Geshe Namdak in the FPMT just published in-depth story.
