I started read His Holiness “Practicing wisdom” book. The one Geshela recommended. Thubten Jinpa translated it and its very good text, very approachable. I found our main text quite difficult so I read first His Holiness and then Gyalshab-Jes-Commentary.

I got my confirmation few weeks ago. I hope they will let you know soon. I think that it is easier for them to organise the places for males as they can accommodate most of them in the monastery. I am not aware how it is with places for women and whether they stay with nuns, in the village near monastery, etc. Maybe there will be designated space within monastery grounds.
Perhaps thats why it takes time. I am sure they will sort something out.
