Following the parinirvana of our spiritual director and holy guru, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, we invite you, our beloved community members whose ultimate happiness was Rinpoche’s constant and only concern, to come together, online or in person, to celebrate His life.
Swift Return Prayers
His Holiness the Dalai Lama (in the picture with Lama Zopa Rinpoche) composed a beautiful swift return prayer for Lama Zopa Rinpoche with an extremely moving colophon.
Other distinguished lamas, with whom Lama Zopa Rinpoche had a strong connection in this lifetime, also spontaneously composed swift return prayers for Rinpoche and are being gathered by FPMT.

49th Day after the Passing of Lama Zopa Rinpoche
On May 31, Heruka Lama Chopa with Tsog will be offered at Kopan Monastery on the occasion of the 49th day since Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s passing. All are welcome to join the livestream of this special puja.
