How to Meditate
July 2 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am
Drop-in meditation on Sunday
Start your week off right and banish stress and anxiety with the power of meditation.
These meditation drop-in sessions are secular and have been created so that like-minded people can meet, meditate and learn how to meditate together.
Come to Discover what meditation is
Meditation is a simple practice available to all, which can reduce stress, increase calmness and clarity and promote happiness. Learning how to meditate is straightforward, and the benefits can come quickly.
These meditation sessions provide a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of city life, allowing individuals to find inner peace and tranquility. Whether you are seeking solace, stress relief, or simply a moment of stillness, these meditations offer a valuable opportunity to cultivate a sense of well-being in the midst of our fast-paced world.
In this drop-in meditation session, you will have the chance to experience a 60-minute guided meditation. This is an in-person gathering where you can connect with like-minded individuals and explore the transformative power of meditation.
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to find inner calm and uncover the true essence of life. Join us at Jamyang London Buddhist Centre and embark on a journey of self-discovery and enlightenment.
Is meditation for me?
This class is for beginners and all who wish to develop basic meditation methods which they can apply to improve their daily lives, whether or not they identify as Buddhists, and regardless of their prior experience with meditation.
By creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, these meditation sessions encourage individuals from all walks of life to come together and embark on a journey of self-discovery and mindfulness. These meditations are for everyone, regardless of their religious or cultural background.
Led by experienced guides, these meditations offer a gentle introduction to the practice, ensuring that participants feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. However, they also cater to those who may have some familiarity with meditation, providing an opportunity for individuals to deepen their meditation practice.
